Why this site exists
Power a City is a Simulation/Tycoon experience by the Vivat's Workers group where you buy and upgrade generators, connect energy to villages and cities, earn cash every second, and unlock better energy sources as your grid grows. It launched in June 2026 and passed ten million visits by early October — but its developer publishes no stat tables, no rates, and no patch notes, and the game has no community wiki. The useful public knowledge is scattered across the official Roblox surfaces and a handful of code trackers that do not always agree.
PowerACityWiki exists to collect that scattered knowledge in one place, attach a source and a checked date to every claim, and turn it into pages that answer real player questions: what to build first, how the cash-and-power loop feeds itself, whether a code is worth trying, and which official links actually resolve.
Author and editor profile
The site is maintained by an independent Roblox guide editor who tracks Power a City through three layers of sources. The official layer is the exact Roblox experience (place 127475054933484, universe 10340721921), its public game and badge APIs, and the Vivat's Workers creator group — these anchor identity, update timestamps, visit and vote counts, and badge statistics. The publisher layer is the named code trackers (Destructoid, Pocket Tactics, PCGamesN, Urgametips, Nerds Chalk, Pro Game Guides) whose refreshes carry code status and gameplay descriptions. The community layer is the Power a City Discord server, whose public invite we verify resolves to a server named exactly like the game. Codes, guides, and link pages are updated from those layers — never from promotional images, never from similarly named games.
What that means in practice: the codes page separates the four-tracker CITY13 report from officially confirmed rewards; the guides build on the confirmed generator-to-city loop and the energy-source families the trackers describe; and the progress planner tracks your own objectives instead of inventing universal rates the game has never published.
Editorial policy
Game facts, codes, mechanics, and entities must come from an allowed, checkable source, and every data table names its source and checked date. When sources disagree, we show both claims instead of averaging them: CITY13's reward is a case study — three trackers print a generic “Free Rewards” label while Urgametips alone claims “50 Cash,” so our codes page presents the dispute rather than picking a winner. When one tracker lags (Urgametips still listed 2MVISITS active after fresher refreshes resolved it expired), the conflict stays visible with both dates. A rumored or single-source string stays off the site entirely, and information from Power Your City, Nuke Your City, or Superpower City is never treated as Power a City information.
How pages are updated
The game's own update cadence drives the check schedule. The Roblox API reports an updated timestamp each time the universe changes — most recently October 7, 2026, with prior observations on October 3, September 28, and September 23 — and after each observed timestamp the updates page records the new date while the codes status is re-verified against the freshest tracker refreshes, because new codes usually ship with updates and old ones expire without notice. The badge statistics and live counts behind the wiki and guides come from public APIs and are re-pulled at each review. Every page carries the date it was last checked, so you can judge freshness yourself instead of trusting us.
Corrections
If a page has an outdated code, a stale link status, or a guide note that no longer matches the live game, use the contact page with the page URL, the claim, and a reference that supports the correction. Corrections that check out are applied with a new checked date. The sources page lists every named reference behind the site with its type and checked date, the link-status page records which official channels resolve, and the disclosure page records the site's unofficial, fan-made status and advertising boundaries.
Independence
This is an unofficial fan site. It is not affiliated with Roblox or with Vivat's Workers, and official support, purchases, moderation, and account issues belong on the official Roblox page and the creator's own channels — linked, not imitated. poweracity.wiki is an independent guide; the name overlap with the game is descriptive, not a claim of authority. Advertising on the site is limited to the formats disclosed on the disclosure page, and no advertising relationship changes what the data pages say.
